We highly recommend making sure your iOS is up to date before updating the Proxyclick app.  If your iOS is not compatible with the app and you try to update the iOS, you may not be able to access the app and your kiosk will not be available. 

Running an out of date app can cause unexpected issues with the system and prevent it from functioning as expected so this is one of the first things we check during troubleshooting.  

To confirm your iOS version on your iPad you can find all of the details in your settings.

Click on Kiosk list and you'll find the details for every kiosk connected to your location. 

If your iOS is in need of an update, click on the Settings icon located on your iPad.

Under the General section, click on the Software Update section.

Click on Software Update and if there is an update available, you will be able to download and install it.  Please keep in mind, installing the update will be a two step process of downloading and then installing the app.  

Once the iOS has been updated, you can proceed to update the Proxyclick app.

To locate the update to the kiosk app, click on the App Store app and search for Proxyclick Visitor Management 

If an update is available, you will see an UPDATE button on the right side of the screen.  

The app will begin the update and when it is ready, the update button will now say OPEN.  Click on the button and the latest version of your Proxyclick app will launch.

You will need to login again, don't forget to have your activation code ready!
